Use cloud to share large files via the internet

It was the fall of 2015. I was hired as a photographer for a one-day event at one of the five stars in Kathmandu. It was a fashion show organized by some Indian modeling agency. The event finished late in the evening, and immediately after the event, the organizer flew back to their country. They sent me a short message text on my cell phone that they'll write me back to let me know how to submit the photos.

After a few days I received an email. By then I was already done with post-processing. The email suggested me to send photos via Facebook messenger. What???? I invested my time and resources to produce good photos. I couldn't let Facebook compromise its quality. Therefore I refused to send photos via Facebook and suggested that I'll share them via dropbox. You know what, the email I received next was horrifying. "We agree that Facebook compromises image quality, so please use email to send photos. We don't prefer other complicated ways."

Seriously? You run an organization, host events all around the globe, and find cloud sharing complicated? I tried to convince them that sharing via Google Drive is faster and easier, but they were determined that they do not want to use it.

All I wanted next was to get rid of them. For once I thought that I should have agreed to send them photos via Facebook. Believe it or not, I had to compose 27 emails to send about 150 photos.

I understand that you aren't supposed to know everything or use every tool that you've been recommended. But hello, if you want to send or receive large files via the internet, then something like Dropbox, Google Drive, One Drive or a cloud is very useful, trust me!
