Add HTTPS to your website in 5 minutes


There are many reasons why everyone should turn on the HTTPS for their site.

- Chrome has decided to place the warning “Not secure” for every sites that do not use HTTPS. I am sure you don’t want your visitors to see something like this:

- HTTPS protects users against attacks. It works as a security gate making it harder for hackers to steal your visitor’s data.
- HTTPS also impacts SEO. This might be one of the main reasons why you need to turn on the HTTPS for your site immediately.
- It helps your reader know that they landed on the right page, and not a malicious site.

To add HTTPS availability on your site built on blogger,
  • Open your blogger dashboard, click setting, then basics. {#1 and #2}
  • Click the dropdown arrow under HTTPS availability and choose Yes. 

  • It will take a while to process HTTPS availability for your site. However, it wont take more than five minutes for most occasions. Keep refreshing your page because there is one more thing to do before you finish the setup.
  • Click the dropdown and select Yes for HTTPS redirect.

Guess what, you're done!
If you did things correctly, HTTPS will now work for your site.
